INTRODUCTION

Grimes carries 90,000-plus products used in manufacturing process and supply, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and for specialized industrial requirements. The eGrimesDirect Quotation Catalog can only present a small select number of tools, materials, and supplies. We have everything you need, but if you cannot find it here, please call us.

USING THIS CATALOG

To use this catalog most efficiently, select a Product Category from the left-side menu. You can click on that item's menu text to open a descriptive introduction to that Product Category, but if you know what you are looking for, clicking directly on the little arrowhead which precedes that Product Category will expand the menu to show a number of bulleted Product Sub-Categories.

Clicking on a bulleted Product Sub-Category will show you either a single Sub-Category Product Page with product descriptions, or a Sub-Category Table of Contents Page (which we use for more extensive listings, if required). A Sub-Category Table of Contents Page presents all the links to the multiple descriptive Product Pages located within that Sub-Category.

In other terms, the catalog uses a 4-level navigation scheme: a Product Category leads to Product Sub-Categories which lead either to a single Sub-Category Product Page or to a Sub-Category Table of Contents, with links to multiple Product Pages.

For example, suppose that you are looking for "wide cloth abrasive belts." To find that item, an appropriate sequence might be:

Step 1. Find the Product Category "Abrasives" on the left-side menu, then click on the arrowhead to view an expanded menu of all the "Abrasives" Product Sub-Categories.

Step 2. Within those bulleted Sub-Categories, click on "Belts."

Step 3. Choose "wide cloth" from the "Belts" Sub-Category Table of Contents to see an individual Product Page describing "wide cloth abrasive belts."

Step 4. Use the "Quote" button beside each item listed in the catalog to add products to the Quote Generator. Use the "View Request For Quote" link on the main menu to access and process your RFQ.
